Fast Dark Signal Measurements of SVOM VT CCDs Using the Vertical Gradient of Dark Field Images

This paper describes a fast technique for estimating the dark signals of charge coupled devices (CCDs) visible telescope (VT) onboard space multi-band variable object monitor (SVOM). It is based on vertical gradient in field images frame transfer CCDs. During process clear, exposure, and readout, characteristic signal accumulation analyzed firstly. Next, linear fitting method used to fit level image direction, slope line represents factor. only needs one can be simple efficient measurements Besides, an experiment detecting as function temperature has been carried out. Making use Shockley-Hall-Read theory, two curve formulas are adopted experimental results VT Advanced Inverted Mode Operation (AIMO) CCD Non-Inverted (NIMO) respectively.
